Aviation Composites was founded in 1995 by Lindsay Danes. Having gained experience through gliding and sport aircraft composite repair and manufacturing work since 1980 (including building his own Long Ez aircraft and then gaining broad experience in both composites technician skills and business supervision & production planning during the manufacture & certification of the Eagle XTS150 all carbonfibre composites aircraft), he established Aviation Composites.
Initially focusing on General Aviation component repairs with a CAR 30 Certificate of Approval in modest premises, we have since become much sought after for our specialist services in aircraft composite component repairs and manufacture, locally and throughout Australia.
The company has since expanded their capabilities to a wide range of component repairs and manufacture in composites, bonded structures, metalwork & painting, having also attained CASA Part 145 Repair approval in 2013.
To allow us to better provide our services, we have recently moved to our newly setup, spacious 1000 sq M premises at 6/9 Ambitious Link, Bibra Lake.
Lindsay has hand-picked an exceptional team of managers and technicians comprising personnel with experience and qualifications in Composite and Metal (Structures) gained from their training in-house, at training organisations and at large manufacturers and maintenance organisations across the aerospace industry.
